A talented producer, saxophonist, keyboardist, and flute musician, Walter Chancellor has shared “Platinum Record” status with such artists as “Prince” on the CD “Emancipation” (NPG Records) and has been a mainstay of the Twin Cities contemporary jazz and R&B scene for over a decade. Within the last few years, Walter has Performed & Recorded with various Local and National groups in the Twin Cities music scene such as: Prince, Chaka Khan, Maceo Parker, Candi Dulfer, Bobby Lyle, Musique, Larry Graham, Louis Johnson, Tommy Davidson, TKO, The Steeles, Thomasina Petrus, Best Kept Secret, Debbie Duncan, Conversation Piece (4 years as House Band for Jazzmine’s Night Club in Minneapolis). Drawing his inspiration from early Jazz and Funk Luminaries, with his record label, Earfone Records, Walter provides Music Production, Songwriting, and Session work for Local & National Artists Worldwide, Corporate Groups, and Non-Profit Organizations as well.
