Apache Indian is a trailblazer who changed the game with his ground-breaking fusion of reggae, dancehall, and Indian music. With over 35 years of experience and countless iconic hits later, he is set to take the stage at the Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Hall!
Hailing from Birmingham, Steven Kapur aka Multi-Platinum Artist Apache Indian, was born into a Hindu/Punjabi family, growing up as a child listening to traditional Indian songs and movies at home.
As Apache got to his teenage years, he fell in love with the Reggae Sound and got involved with the Birmingham sound system culture. His journey began with the release of the ground-breaking ‘Movie Over India’, a true genre-defining song in 1989 which Apache released himself on his own label.
